Nexen Tire Co., established in 1942 as Heung-A Tire Company, has proudly served the tire industry for over 80 years. In 1956, we became the first Korean tire company to receive recognition. In 1985, we established our production facility in Yangsan, Korea, exclusively for radial tires. Furthermore, we partnered with OHTSU Tire & Rubber in Japan six years later to enhance our development and manufacturing capabilities.

The name Nexen combines two forward-thinking words: "Next" and "Century". This name represents our determination to prepare for the future and drive a better tomorrow. As evidence of our commitment, our tires are Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified for severe winter weather conditions, excluding flotation sizes.

Our tires feature a dual sidewall design, allowing drivers to choose a look that matches their ride without compromising performance and ride comfort. Additionally, our reinforced 3-ply construction provides increased strength and durability, enabling a higher load carrying capacity, improved durability, extra puncture resistance, and better cornering for heavier loads.

To ensure optimal traction in snowy, muddy, and wet conditions, our tires are equipped with 3D sipes within the tread. These sipes bite into the road, increasing traction and improving overall safety.
